The telco behemoth hopes to build 5G equipment in the nation as a result of this collaboration. In addition, Qualcomm may be able to provide Jio with entry-level chipsets.
— The Snapdragon 480 5G is one of Qualcomm's most affordable 5G chipsets. As a result, Jio may be able to employ it in its forthcoming smartphone. Having said that, there's no substantial evidence to support this notion, so take it with a grain of salt.
—According to reports, both Jio and Google are having problems with the phone's production process. This is primarily due to supply chain difficulties. As a result, it's feasible that Jio could reveal the phone at a future event and make it accessible to users later this year. However, according to a more recent source, inventories would be restricted in the initial phase.
— In 2018, Jio Phone 2 was released. This is a qwerty gadget with 4G capability. It's primarily targeted towards customers who can't buy high-end 4G cellphones. The smartphone is priced at Rs 2999.
—The device has a 2.4-inch TFT display with a 320x240-pixel resolution. Furthermore, the phone is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. This is paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which is extendable through micro-SD up to 128GB.
—The device has a 2-megapixel camera on the back and a 0.2-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
—A 2000mAh battery and KAI OS round out the package. Surprisingly, the phone includes Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp functionality.

According to many sources, Jio Phone 5G will be unveiled at an event on June 24. However, the new Jio Phone-branded 5G smartphone may not be available immediately away and may begin arriving in a few weeks. We'll have to wait for the company's confirmation.
